Typically found running or biking the trails near my house and/or with a stiff drink in my hand. I co-habitat with three dogs, a cat, and my girlfriend Heidi. We’re a pair wildlife biologists who are unsure what to do with ourselves…that usually leads to interesting conversation.
The purpose of the blogging (which began back in 2005) is to chronicle my journey to (insert goal here).
Currently I’m working towards an Ironman in 2010 (either Arizona or Coeur d’Alene). So as I run, bike, and swim my ass off, eat massive amounts of vegan food, piecemeal my tribike together (as funding permits), and self-coach my way into the sport of triathlon, I’ll try to keep my thoughts and photos on the this blog as real and at times as crude as I can.
Likes: Indian food, NPR, bourbon, dogs, Chacos, all things GPS, PBR, Macs, goats, Stephen Colbert, and the t-shirt section at Goodwill.
Dislikes: Cold weather, rashes, meat, people who drive in the bike lane, FOX News, people who say “like” too frequently, Jesus-freaks, SUVs, and Myspace.
